sleepy.

I have yet to write about the house in Rail Road Flat. it's nice. it's large. it's still empty. you can see mountains from the yard. you can see a reservoir from the windows. there are trees. there is grass. there is strangely reddish dirt. we play card games at night. and clean in the day. and go to the town to shop too. i only get reception on my phone in town. that's the only time i can call tmoblie lame. town is about twenty minutes away. the road to town makes me feel ill. apparently it snows there.

The second time we went out there, on the drive up, we saw the most amazing rainbow i've ever ever seen. it started out being huge and a full half circle like you draw when you're five... ground, loop up, and back to the ground. then, it turned into a really bright quarter circle, then there were two, then there was a double thick one and a second one. it was sooo amazing, the photos don't even do it justice.

we took two cars for the second trip because that time everyone except flavia came (she had work). so andrei and i drove in the regal. he was so excited to have it there so he could drive it on the crazy spaghetti roads. it was crazy. he was pulling .91 g force at one point, a lot of the rest of the time it was .8 or so. like, whoa.
it's pretty up there to drive around.
wouldn't be able to live there though. twenty+ minutes is way too far away to be from even slight civilization (aka grocery store). we were told to check the dates on food at the convenience store in town because some people have found four month expired stuff there.
there is a pretty cool little shop down the street from the house that is like a giant indoor garage sale, but the prices are really good and the stuff is really clean if not new and there's some interesting stuff too. they have a sign out front that says 'need cheap entertainment? come take a look!'
oh my goodness.... the stars there. are so. bright. like, i had no idea that many existed in the sky. it's insane. so amazing. so clear. i can imagine it would be perfect in the summer to just sit outside in the crisp summer night air and look at the stars.

as for being here? jason was here from saturday to after fuse on monday. that was pretty fun. the drive back was a blast though. it was just andrei, jason and me. jason decided it would be a good idea for us to get some frozen yogurt. it sure was.

then yesterday andrei and i drove back up to jason's in woodland hills and spent most of the day up there. andrei's aunt (jason's grandma) took andrei and me out to lunch at the mall foodcourt and we had greek food. it was pretty good. i never had it before then. then the rest of the time we spent at the house. jason and andrei messed with a laptop jason's going to sell on ebay and for a while, the aunt (mia) kidnapped me and we chatted a bit (mostly i listened to what she had to say, but whatever), then i cut andrei's uncle's hair, then andrei jason and i chilled in jason's room while they were working on the laptop some more. it was pretty fun. his mom made us some orange strawberry juice and that was yum.

on monday i started working at the seaport homes leasing office. monday was a lot of note taking and attempting to soak information in and today was more like.... work? aka i sat in the leasing office (which is one of the model condos that are all set up and decorated nicely) rewriting my notes from monday and listening to music. not too bad.
it's andrei's mom's birthday, so brittany and nancy got a cake and all of the employees of the place got some. it was yum. same kind as at the engagement party and what we had for simona's birthday a week or so ago. it's a really light mango mousse cake. layers of light cake, mango mousse, and jelloish stuff. with fruit on top.

the past few days i've woken up all ache-y and feeling totally not rested. i must not be sleeping well anymore. i wake up so easily when flavia gets up for school and just drift off between being awake and sleeping. i've been having really weird dreams too. i don't remember today's though. they're just weird. in a murder/scary movie kind of way. but they don't last too long, which i good. i don't think i could take full out plotlines of this stuff. i used to get crazy nightmares when i was younger, but i haven't in years. i hope i don't start again. that would really bite. because i don't really have anyone to go to if i do. when i was little and i couldn't sleep, i went to my mom and woke her up and she came and kept me company while i fell back asleep or even fell asleep with me. then when i got older and started feeling bad about waking her up all the time, i would find cocoa and just hug her untill i felt better. now i have neither one and i don't feel like i should bother andrei even though he's just downstairs from me because i'd feel bad about making him wake up in the middle of the night especially if he has work the next day. and plus, he can't really lay with me untill i fall asleep because i share a room with flavia and if he ended up falling asleep, that would be awkward, no?
i just wish i could sleep better. i was fine for a while, i have no idea what happened.
my eyes feel exhausted and the rest of me aches.

i've got a lot of people looking out for me for a job in a salon. the guy that drives timmy home from church youth group wednesdays sharpens and sells shears as his job, so he visits and knows a ton of salons, nancy knows a few, and brittany today talked to me and said that she'd ask her friend(s) if they know of a place that would hire me as an assistant/receptionist/apprentice. hopefully i'll get something soon i guess.
it would be nice to get out of the building.

i should really get out and explore one day.

i want to color my hair. same level (light/darkness) different tone (reddish, gold, ashy etc). my hair is looking worse and worse. the roots are my lovely natural ash brown, then the rest is some form of ugly reddish orange trash. there are stripes in there too if you look hard enough. looks like i have like, two or three different outgrowth lines. abnormal. and ugly.
i just want it to be my natural color, so i just need to put an ash based brown at my natural level over all the warm orangy junk.

i like floor two here. it reminds me of the foyer of the resort we stayed in in mexico. all lush and green and stuff. floor two is the first floor with units on it. that would rock to live there. just to step outside into greenery and nice paved roads instead of the breezeway we have. even though it's not bad at all. floor two is just a short elevator ride away. too bad the roof is not open past 10pm. silly people that made too much noise past ten caused them to put up a gate with a lock.

Simona is here.
the place got loud.
i like her though.

Andrei just got home from work.
yay.

i suppose it is time for me to conclude this edition of emo kristina in california.
