this past weekend was insane busy. no joke.
friday i'm pretty sure that after andrei was done with work, i went to help him move some of his stuff.... didn't get back til late, er, early...? so i was like, super tired on saturday.
saturday
attempted some tennis in the AM. went to the LWC courts with andrei and algiukas. they were doing fine, but i was so insane tired i was nearly falling asleep as the ball was coming right at me... not cool. so we came home and i went to sleep for like an hour or so. that helped immensely. then andrei and i got ready and left for dan's party. we got to his aunt's house and were led to the basement where he was with a FEW of his friends. there were like 5 of them or something. dan was like, 'you actually came!' like he didn't expect that we'd actually go, after i told him like twice that andrei and i were planning on going. i just responded with 'of course we came. i said we would'. then after some sitting in the basement, we got abandoned and were about to start molding with all of the random old stuff in that basement. then we went outside to the yard and played some volleyball. although it was not very well played at all, it was quite amusing. very filled with racist jokes aimed at each other, but dan told me multiple times that that's how they roll in oswego. so then, we headed over to dan's house, but andrei and i got there before dan even did, so we headed out for a drive and ended up on this long straight-ish road, so he did some 0-60 / 60-0 / 60ft speed-ness things and according to him, got some really good times. then like a half hour later, dan showed up and the small bunch of us there followed him around his yard as he lit tiki torches. then more people started showing up including some guys that liked cars and kinda sorta maybe knew what andrei was talking about... most of the time. then he took the two of them and me for a drive down that one road and took the 35mph or so turns at like 85/90mph. :D haha. then when we got back this one kid was like $20 says i can beat you and your car, so andrei called up his cousin to look up some information on that other kid's car, decided that if that guy actually knew what he was doing, he would have been able to beat him, so decided against it, but some of the other guys there were like, how about this car or this car. it was kind of amusing. then we sat around the bonfire and talked to dan and a few other people including this girl, danielle that introduced herself to us during volleyball. then at like 10:30 we left because after a lame start, a climax of 'long hair' kid and dan, the 'indians' jumping over the bonfire, and then another lull, we decided... hey, we haven't had food all day. so we headed south. andrei was crazy tired. for me the tired kicked in way earlier, so i napped, but he was tired at night, so i ended up driving down to denny's in mokena for some food. he was still tired so we just kinda sat there in the parking lot for like a half hour or so while he slept. luckily, there was entertainment in the neighboring parking lot. at a place called capone's there was an ambulance, a bunch of police cars and suvs from mokena, frankfort, new lenox, and the general will county cars. there were police guys walking around and there were like 3 guys that seemed to be involved in what happened and were occupied talking to the police officers that were out and about. the ambulance drove away with lights on by the way, so the situation could not have been too good. and yet there were people walking in and out and around the place as if this was a normal occurrence. then finally around 12 andrei decided he was awake enough to perform the super straining and energy draining task of eating. he looked so tired during our all purpose meal of the day. he also shoveled down the food faster than usual... almost as if he hadn't eaten all day or something... go figure. then i drove us home and sleep time, yo.
sunday
church at 10. it was good to go, it had been like 2 weeks or something since last time. maybe we only missed one, but it seemed like more. but the last one i went to i was so tired i just wanted to sit in a corner or something outside. then we met up with my dad at andrei's old apartment. he brought one of my uncle's lemont township giant pickup trucks. (it was so not cool to not go to lunch after church though. so wrong!) anyway, so we moved all of the bigger items to the new place- 32 inch tv, mattress, desk aka. giant heavy slabs of wood like substance, dresser and random stuff. it was way cool fun, yo. at least that all got done though. then a little later, we headed over to meet up with the rest of the family at my uncle's house in orland park for my cousin vytas' graduation party. it was crazy cool... food. cousins. pool table. three dogs. dessert. soda mixing. my dad mixed squirt and root beer in a cup and it tasted really bad while you were drinking it, but the after taste was like... a root beer float. it was really amusing. then we left for home at like... 9:30?
monday
algiukas had tennis. he was in the beginner class, but he was sooooo bored. it was sad, yet mildly amusing to watch the rest of the kids out there. we got him moved up to intermediate though. he likes it a lot better. coolness. then more moving shtuffs.
andrei is here now. so i shall go.
by the way, go listen to the band william tell. the song just for you. iiiiii like it. a lot.
