cicadas need to explode.

i want a quesadilla.
...however, i'm not all that hungry right now. so therefore, i will not eat one now.

it is sunny.
it is cool.
it is lovely.
outside.

so i was talking to my mom. she doesn't want to go to this random family party thing this saturday, but she's going to go anyway because she doesn't have a legitimate reason to not go other than she doesn't feel like it. i'm not going because andrei and i are going to dan's graduation party. (thank goodness)

sunday is my cousin's graduation party, so we get to see the lovely family bunch... again.
then next sunday is father's day, so we get to see them... again. (the five of us just saw the grandparents last sunday... and we were the only 1/3 of the family sets there...)
then the next sunday is 'jonines' (a kind of a big deal as far as lithuanian party days are concerned), so we're going to see them again. i hope its nice enough outside so we can spend at least some of the day at the beach. but see this one is not only family, but also my grandparents old people friends. yay. at least i get to make a ton of desserts for it. i like making desserts. and my grandpa specifically asked me to bring andrei with me. and laura should be there. so that's good.

and so i just informed my mom of these consecutive sundays- she didn't realize we'd be busy every stinkin' sunday this month with them. i do believe she got a little upset. and you know what? i don't particularly want to see them so often this month either. i could go for seeing nata and laura more often, but so many full out family functions in one month is a little overkill. sad, but true. once a month would totally be acceptable though, i do like them for the most part.

ok, yeah, i'm done now. i do believe i shall go have a quesadilla or something now.

argh, i just want a normal sunday again.... go to church with andrei in the morning, then out to lunch, then just spend the day with just him. not at home. i miss that. and there won't be a sunday like that at least until after we get back from california.

i really hope something gets planned up with sandy, megan, and rachel before i leave.
