finally done.

it's so nice to be done driving. it's good to be able to just sit and chill.

the past two nights i haven't been online, so i haven't updated this yet. so i will now.

wednesday was a few miles of colorado and then all of utah, a tiny bit of arizona, and up to las vegas.
the driving was simple, stress-free, and had nice scenery. utah had some parts that were so awesome. all of it had mountains and canyons and mesas and what not. glittery snow, and rockyness too. the glittery snow was cool. speed limit was 75 and had barely any cars on the road so we were going over 75 through the whole state. it kind of felt like i was playing a real life 'need for speed' like on ps2 or the computer or what not because there was no traffic except for a few other cars and trucks we passed by, then an occasional car that would go faster than us and the highway was really scenic like in the game.
after a while utah got kind of boring though.
there was a stretch in arizona that was really awesome. we drove through a canyon thing... the walls were rockyness straight up. viktorija has photos of everything, i'll put them up in their respective posts after i upload pics to my own computer.
then nevada was kind of boring too, same ol thing.
we stayed the night at his aunt's house in vegas.
that was interesting. she was nice though. lol, and just didnt stop giving us random stuff she got free from the casinos like notepads, sunglasses, random anything.
then we went to the actual vegas street with all the major casinos on it and she showed us around a bit. i think viktorija thought it was really cool, but for me it was just like wow, what will the think of next... very very overkill and just what i expected. lol, my favorite part was the outside part of this one restaurant called Jasmine that you can see from the pond/fountains in front of the Bellagio.
oh, and she took us to a buffet too. that was pretty good.

the drive through the rest of nevada and california to their home was nice. i like california mountains best. we stopped at a jack in the box for lunch. man, was that good to have again.
driving on the 'freeways' out here in LA was not as bad as i expected at all. it was actually less stressful than driving in Denver and Vegas surprisingly. not sure why. maybe because i was starting to get used to city traffic at least a bit. eh

and so we arrived to their home in san pedro. it's very nice. open, rounded wall corners, bright, windows. the view from the bedroom window is nice too. it was really hot yesterday when we got here.... 80 something. i think it's around 70 now, which is good. can't wait for it to be cooler though.

it's way sunny. very weird.
this place feels a lot like the resort we stayed in in mexico. just the overall feel of it. it's kind of interesting. i suppose i'll get used to it.

well i'm really hungry.

i'll update more later.
